Estamos assistindo “Cosmos: Possible Worlds” com o Otto, e estamos todos adorando, até o episódio de hoje (#9) sobre o mundo quântico. Além da dificuldade de lidar com a ambiguidade da questão (nem Einstein lidou bem 😂) ele ficou muito incomodado com a história de Newton testando a luz e colocando uma agulha embaixo do globo ocular 🫣
No banho, mais tarde, ele retoma comigo o assunto, inconformado:
“I would NEVER go that far for science. Ever.”
“Punching yourself in the jaw to see stars? Pretty committed. Banging your head in the wall to see things differently? Kinda exaggerated, but ok.”
“Now, inserting a NEEDLE under your eyeball to see a blue spot? DUDE, way too far!”
Agora tá assim, ele fala com Newton chamando ele de DUDE.
